The electrifying debut album by one of the biggest American bands from the first half of the 1970s. Full of exciting hard rock in the bold style created by Cream, it was awarded a Gold Record in 1978 and is a pioneering album in the development of heavy metal. The LP was recorded shortly after the first Atlanta Pop Festival, during which the band was an audience favourite among the 50,000 fans in attendance. Such was the concert’s success that it prompted Capitol Records to sign them.
