THE LOVE UNLIMITED ORCHESTRA – RHAPSODY IN WHITE

The Love Unlimited Orchestra was the instrumental voice of legendary producer and songwriter Barry White. Released in 1974, Rhapsody In White was the orchestra’s debut LP and followed White’s breakthrough solo success the previous year.

Arranged and conducted by Barry White, the album blends lush orchestral arrangements with deep funk grooves and elegant soul instrumentation. The record is highlighted by the worldwide hit “Love’s Theme,” a No.1 instrumental that became one of the defining sounds of the 1970s disco era.

Also featuring standout tracks like “Midnight and You” and “Baby Blues,” the album showcases Barry White’s signature orchestral style—rich strings, sweeping melodies, and irresistible rhythm. Presented here on 140-gram virgin vinyl with the original artwork.
