Reissue of the seminal debut US studio album by the “Queen of Disco”, Donna Summer, produced by Giorgio Moroder, and Pete Bellotte. Love to Love You Baby (1975) marked the first big hit for Moroder, who went on to great success as a songwriter and producer (working with the likes of Electric Light Orchestra, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Elton John, and Daft Punk, among others). lncluded here is the full-length version of the song “Love to Love You Baby”, which was Summer’s first single and first hit in America. lt climbed to #2 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Chart, #1 on the Hot Dance Club Chart, and #3 on the R&B Chart. The album was also certified gold for sales of over 500,000 copies in the US.
