Bill Evans Trio – Behind The Dikes, The 1969 Netherlands Recordings (Limited 180 Gr. HQ 3LP Gatefold)
This is the first release of these historic concerts in Holland. A 180 Gram 3LP set with splendid sound quality mastered for vinyl by Bernie Grundman from the original Dutch Radio source tapes. This album has been produced in conjunction with the Bill Evans State and Dutch producer/ researcher Frank Jochemsen for the Elemental Music imprint, founded in 2013 between Zev Feldman and Jordi Soley. There will be a 2-CD set deluxe package and digital download posterior release on July 23rd.
Barney Wilen’s La Note Bleue (Deluxe Box Set)
A fantastic limited edition box set of 2000 copies for Barney Wilen’s La Note Bleue including a 180 Gram vinyl of the original LP newly remastered from the original analog 24-track master tapes offering a previously never-heard sound quality on the music. The set includes as well a reproduction of the 88-page iconic comic book ‘Barney et La Note Bleue’ in collaboration with world-renown comic publisher Casterman. It also includes a glossy 40-page LP-size booklet with new liner notes and never before issued photos from the original studio sessions and memorabilia. Finally to top it up a bonus CD consisting of a previously unissued 1989 Radio France Broadcast by the Barney Wilen Quartet at Parisian jazz club Le Petit Opportun with Jacky Terrasson on piano.
MTB – Consenting Adults (180 Gr. HQ Limited 2LP Gatefold)
M.T.B “Consenting Adults“ is the first production done in collaboration with the Criss Cross Jazz State and brings, for the first time on vinyl the seminal 1994 studio recording of five pillars of today’s jazz scene. Brad Mehldau, Mark Turner, Peter Bernstein, Larry Grenadier, and Leon Parker. A 180 Gram High-Quality 2LP set mastered for vinyl and lacquer cutting by the great Bernie Grundman.
